Manager includes the VAT Return Form report for Saudi Arabia. This report is available as part of the business localization feature, which streamlines the localization process. Because the report contains specific content, some setup may be required, depending on the status of your business.
If you are adding a new business in Manager and set its
Business Location to Saudi Arabia during initial setup, you will automatically have access to this report and everything that supports it. No manual setup will be required. Specifically, the following will automatically be added to your business:
Setting up an existing business on Manager is slightly more complex. Fortunately, you only need to do this once.
This setup process must be completed separately for each Saudi Arabian business in Manager. Localization settings and features do not carry over from one to another.
To more completely understand the importation process, read this general Guide before setting up a business for this particular report.
Go to Settings and clickImport in the top-right corner:
Select Saudi Arabia and click Next:
Click inside the
Import field and select the report and any tax codes you will use (you must click and select multiple times):
Then click Import. The report will be added to your Reports tab and any additional tax codes you selected will be available in the Settings tab under Tax Codes.
If you accidentally select a tax code you have already been using, no hard will occur. Tax codes can only be added to a business once.
Now go to the Reports tab and click on the report:
Then create a new report, which will look like this:
The VAT Return Form does not support fields 2 and 9 yet.
