Advanced Queries is a powerful feature in Manager.io allowing you to select, sort, filter, and organize data from any tabular screen. This functionality greatly enhances reporting capabilities and provides nearly unlimited possibilities for customized reports. It is especially valuable when combined with Custom Fields, enabling tailored management of your business data.
To start using Advanced Queries, navigate to the relevant tab with the data you wish to analyze—such as the Sales Invoices tab. Then:
When creating a new Advanced Query, you'll see the following fields:
Suppose you want to view invoices greater than $1,000. Follow these steps:
Navigate to the Sales Invoices tab.
Click on the Advanced Queries dropdown and select New Advanced Query.
Complete the fields:
Select: Choose relevant columns, for example:
Where: Check the box and select the Invoice Amount field from the dropdown. Set the condition to is more than and enter 1000.
Click Create to save your advanced query.
After clicking Create, you'll automatically return to the Sales Invoices tab. Your newly created Advanced Query will appear selected, displaying only invoices above $1,000.
To further adjust your filter parameters, click the Edit button next to your query name.
Maximize the power of Advanced Queries by combining them with Custom Fields. By doing this, you can generate highly personalized reports based on specialized data unique to your operations, such as customer satisfaction ratings, product categories, or service types.
