Capital subaccounts

The Capital subaccounts option located in the Settings tab allows you to create sub-accounts. These sub-accounts are accessible to all accounts listed under the Capital Accounts tab.

Purpose of Capital subaccounts

Capital subaccounts allow grouping of transactions within capital accounts into clearer categories, such as:

• Drawings
• Funds contributed
• Share of profit
• Other customized sub-categories

Using Capital subaccounts

When you enter transactions in any capital control account:

1. Select a capital account from the list provided in the Capital Accounts tab.
2. Choose one of the available sub-accounts defined on the Capital subaccounts settings screen.

Viewing Capital subaccounts summary

You can review movements organized by capital accounts and their sub-accounts for any specific period:

• Go to the Reports tab
• Select the Capital Accounts Summary report
