Starting Balances — Inventory Items

This guide explains how to set starting balances for your inventory items within Manager.io.

The Starting Balances — Inventory Items screen allows you to enter initial balances for each inventory item you previously created under the Inventory Items tab. Properly entering these balances ensures accurate inventory tracking from the outset.

Adding a New Starting Balance

To set up a new starting balance for an inventory item, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Starting Balances — Inventory Items screen.
2. Click the New Starting Balance button.

3. You will be directed to the Starting balance entry screen specifically for the selected Inventory Item.
