Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR)

You may need to lodge a Taxable payments annual report (TPAR) by 28 August each year if you are a business providing:

The TPAR tells ATO about payments that are made to contractors for providing services. Contractors can include subcontractors, consultants and independent contractors. They can be operating as sole traders (individuals), companies, partnerships or trusts. ATO uses this information to identify contractors who haven't met their tax obligations.


Go to the Settings tab and click Import button in top-right corner.

Select country Australia then click Next button.

Check Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) then click Import button.


Under SettingsBusiness Details set ABN.

Under Suppliers set:


Use the following tax codes in your transactions:

To view the report, go to the Reports tab.

In the list of reports, you will see Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR) which can be used just like any other report.
