The Businesses
tab is the first screen you see when you open the app. It serves as your gateway to access and manage all your business entities.
This screen displays a list of all the businesses you have added. To work with a specific business, simply click on its name.
To create a new business, click the Add Business
button and select Create New Business
from the drop-down menu.

To import an existing business from a backup file, click the Add Business
button, then select Import Business
.

To delete a business, click the Remove Business
button. Be careful — this action cannot be undone.

Regular backups are essential to protect your data. If you use Desktop Edition
, you must manually back up your businesses. Cloud Edition
automatically backs up your data, but you can still create manual backups for extra security.

Over time, as you add and delete transactions, customers, suppliers, and other data, your business file may become larger than necessary. You can compact the file size by clicking on the file size next to any business name.

If you use Desktop Edition
, your data is stored in the default application data folder. The location varies by operating system, but you can move it by clicking the Change Folder
button. This allows you to store your data in cloud-synced folders like Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, or iCloud for automatic backup.

If you're logged in as an Administrator
on Cloud Edition
or Server Edition
, you can see all businesses. Non-administrator users only see businesses assigned to them by the administrator through the Users
tab.

Manager may refuse to open a business database if it has become corrupted.

Manager cannot open business databases created with newer versions of the software. You must update your Manager version first.
