Late payment fees

The Late payment fees tab in Manager.io helps you efficiently manage and track extra charges applied to customers for overdue sales invoices. This feature provides a clear overview of all late payment fees related to outstanding invoices, allowing you to monitor and administer payment delays effectively.


Accessing Late Payment Fees

Navigate to the Late payment fees tab from the main menu. This tab will display a list of all late payment fees currently recorded in your system.

Columns in the Late Payment Fees Tab

The listing page for late payment fees includes several important columns:

  • Date: The due date for the late payment fee.
  • Customer: The name of the customer who has been charged the late payment fee.
  • Sales Invoice: The reference number for the sales invoice linked to the late payment.
  • Amount: The monetary value of the late payment fee charged.

Creating a New Late Payment Fee

To record a new late payment fee:

  1. Click the New Late Payment Fee button at the top of the Late payment fees tab.

  2. Enter the required information, such as:

    • The Date the late fee is due.
    • The Customer being charged.
    • The relevant Sales Invoice reference.
    • The Amount of the late payment fee.
  3. Save the entry to add it to your list of late payment fees.


Monitoring and Managing Late Payment Fees

Use the Late payment fees tab to regularly review late fees and their statuses. This ensures that overdue payments are appropriately charged and followed up with customers, supporting healthy cash flow management.


Tip: Consistent use of the Late payment fees feature helps maintain an organized record of extra charges and customer accountability for overdue payments.
