This form is the place where you can set up starting balance for inventory item.
To access this form, go to Settings tab, then Starting Balances, then Inventory Items.
The form includes the following fields:
There are following fields:
Select inventory item that you have created under Inventory Items tab.
Check this option if you have any quantity physically on hand.
There are following fields:
Select Inventory Location where the inventory item is physically located.
Enter quantity that is physically located at the inventory location.
Check this option if you have any quantity that you have purchased from suppliers but haven't received yet.
There are following fields:
Select Supplier who you purchased inventory item from but haven't delivered it yet.
Enter quantity that has been purchased from supplier but hasn't been received yet.
Check this option if you have any quantity that you have sold to customers but haven't delivered yet.
There are following fields:
Select Customer who purchased inventory item from you but hasn't received it yet.
Enter quantity that has been sold to customer but hasn't been delivered yet.
