Starting Balances — Balance Sheet Accounts

This guide explains how to set the starting balances for your custom-created balance sheet accounts in Manager.io.

Setting Up Starting Balances

To set starting balances for your accounts, first ensure you have created your accounts via the Chart of Accounts module. Once done, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Starting Balances screen.
2. Click the New Starting Balance button to enter a new balance for a custom-created balance sheet account.

Once clicked, you will be directed to the Starting Balance screen specific to the selected balance sheet account.
