Payments — Lines

The Payments — Lines screen lists individual line items from all recorded payments within Manager.io. Each payment could contain multiple line items; viewing them in this format is ideal for summarizing, filtering, or quickly identifying particular payment details.

Viewing Payments — Lines

To access the Payments — Lines screen:

  1. Go to the Payments tab in Manager.io.

  2. Click the Payments — Lines button at the top.

Columns Available on the Payments — Lines Screen

This screen provides the following columns with valuable information:

  • Date: Date on which the payment was made.
  • Reference: Optional reference number assigned to the payment.
  • Bank or Cash Account: The account from which the payment was made (bank or cash).
  • Customer: Name of the customer if the payment relates to customer transactions.
  • Supplier: Supplier name (when payments relate to suppliers).
  • Description: General description or notes provided for the payment.
  • Item: Name of the inventory or non-inventory item listed on a payment line.
  • Account: General ledger account assigned to the respective line item.
  • Line description: Description associated specifically with the listed line item.
  • Qty: Quantity entered on the line item.
  • Unit price: Unit price set per individual item on the transaction line.
  • Project: Name of the project associated with the line item, if applicable.
  • Division: Name of the division associated with the listed line item.
  • Tax Code: Applicable tax code used on the line item.
  • Tax Amount: Amount of tax calculated for the line item.
  • Amount: Total monetary amount for the line item.

Customizing Display Columns

Manager.io allows you to determine which columns appear on this screen. To customize:

  • Click the Edit columns button at the top of the Payments — Lines screen.

  • Choose columns you wish to display or hide. Refer to the Edit columns guide for additional instructions.

Advanced Queries and Sorting

For enhanced analysis, utilize Advanced Queries to filter or group data based on your requirements. For example, you might want to display only payments made to suppliers for purchase invoices, grouping these payments by supplier and automatically calculating totals per supplier:
